Super Smiles for Kids and Teens
Your Visit

We'll walk you through where your child is today — and what's next.

Schedule online, by phone, or in person. The first visit is short, gentle, and almost entirely about you and your child getting comfortable with us.

Request an appointment

Send us a few details and we'll reach out to get your family scheduled — usually within one business day. Every field but your name and phone is optional.

What to expect

The first visit is meant to be calm and brief — typically 30–45 minutes for a returning child, longer for a brand-new family while we get to know you.

When you walk in

The first thing your child will see is a 30-foot pirate ship suspended above a fish tank, with a rope-gym hideout above the waiting area. We did this on purpose — most kids spend the first few minutes of their visit asking when they get to come back.

For your littlest patients (under 3)

We do a "knee-to-knee" lap exam — you sit facing one of our team members, your child in your lap, and we lay them gently back so their head rests on us. You're holding their hands and looking at them the whole time. The exam itself takes about a minute.

For older kids

Your child has their own treatment chair with a TV mounted overhead and a headset to choose what they want to watch. There are no overhead dental chair lights — they're scary. Each operatory is themed differently so kids can pick their favorite spot.

What we'll do at the visit

Three things at every appointment, regardless of age: we check what's appropriate for their age, we document what we found with intraoral photos and clinical notes so the next visit picks up where this one left off, and we tell you what's next.

What to bring

  • Your insurance card (or ARKids card)
  • A list of any medications your child takes
  • Any specific concerns or questions you've been saving up
  • For new patients: paperwork from a prior dentist if you have it (helpful but not required)
